The challenge was to design an experience that reduces cognitive load, simplifies decision-making, and keeps the interface visually cinematic without sacrificing usability.​​​ Another key challenge was to balance discovery and speed: users should be able to explore movies, languages, and offers, yet still complete a booking in a minimal number of steps. The app also needed to handle core patterns like showtime selection, seat mapping, real-time availability, and multi-payment options while maintaining a clean, consistent design language.Key Features & UX Decisions Home & Discovery: A curated home screen highlights now showing, trending, and upcoming movies with large posters, quick filters for language, genre, and location, and a clear entry to the booking flow. This reduces the time to first action while still supporting browsing behavior.​ Seat Selection: An intuitive seat layout uses clear color-coding and spacing to indicate available, selected, and blocked seats, making it easy to understand availability at a glance and complete selection quickly.​ Booking Flow: The number of steps and taps is minimized by grouping choices logically and keeping all primary actions clearly visible at the bottom of the screen. Micro-interactions and subtle transitions reinforce actions like seat confirmation and payment success, helping users feel confident at every stage.
